ANNUAL REPORT
Bholananda National Vidyalaya was founded by Late Swami Jyotirmoyananda Giri Maharaj, Secretary of Sree Guru Bholananda Ashram, Monirampur, Barrackpore, West Bengal in the year 1978.
It is situated at a very convenient historical place well connected by roadways and water ways on Barrack Road in between Barrackpore railway station and Barrackpore court. It is a Senior Secondary Co-Educational composite school from classes I to XII, English medium, affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (School no. 08402-Old & 15557-New).
The school is an ideal Institution serving the educational needs of the students from every part of the country as well as the society irrespective of cast, creed, race, religion, and language in general. The school has to its credit a record of providing eminent scholars in different fields of education who are successfully placed in well-reputed organisations.
Well structured expansion plan is in the offing in order to cope with the growing demands of admission.
Ours is an accredited institution under the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi, helping the deserving students appear for class X and XII examinations through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
The institution aims to achieve an all-round development of the personality of the students.

RULES & REGULATIONS OF ADMISSION
Admission to Class I to IX and XI as per availability of seats, is open during the session, each year beginning in April. The students coming from Kendriya Vidyalaya or from schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi may be admitted on production of transfer certificate to the satisfaction of the Principal. Admission forms are available from November onwards.

THE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY
The day begins with the morning assembly of the students and the members of the staff. It is an important and integral part of the school curriculum. It consists of the singing of school prayer, pledge, followed by the National Anthem.
GENERAL RULES
- A student whose attendance falls short of 75% of the total working days, will not be allowed to sit in the Annual / Pre-Board examination.
- Parents / Guardians can meet the Principal / Teachers every Friday after 3:00 PM to discuss their ward’s progress & Headmaster every Friday after 10.00 am to discuss their ward’s progress.
- Costly items, electronic gadgets, mobile phones, jewelleries are strictly prohibited inside the school campus.
- Parents must inform the school about the changes (if any) in their residential address and contact numbers.
- Parents must come along with the students for collecting Report cards of Unit Test, Half Yearly, Pre-Board and Annual Exam. on the specified dates.
